The Chattahoochee 9' 5 weight fast action rod offers a wide variety of uses for most fresh water trout fishing. The Chattahoochee allows the angler to cast many different flies from large to small while still offering a delicate touch during presentation. The butt section of the rod has a solid backbone giving plenty of lifting power for fighting large fish while still protecting light tippet when delivering hook sets. This Chattahoochee rod has a well balanced feel especially when paired with the BT12 5/6 weight reel.  Our fly rods are hand built in Georgia including thread wrapping, epoxy, & cork turning.
